If server space is the problem, at least a 'temporary' list that is not saved would help, like the 'last trades' and 'last party memberes' there could be a 'temporal ignore' list.

I get alot of people yelling crap at me, flaming me because they die by me in arenas, and just plain spammers and bots. 10 isn't enough.

Would it not be more usefull to have an allow list rather than a block list.
ie
I only get whispers from people on my friends list party members and those on my allow list.
Said allow list could be 10 same as the present block list.
All crap is then auto blocked unless allowed.
If this would screw up trading then maybe a dual security switch is needed.
High security you have a 10 slot allow list
Low security you have a 10 slot block list

Yes, increase ignore list please.

P.S. We all know Anet and NCSoft love bots, its their main source of income, so reporting a bot is just a failure idea in general

I was never whispered by bots until i went to a Euro distrcit to meet someone for a trade.
I couldn't believe it, I had like 5 whispers to buy gold in a matter of 2-3 miutes.

Between the guild spammers and the gold bots, 10 isn't anywhere near enough anymore.
/signed, and /signed in blood for an "allow only" type list someone else mentioned.

Everyday when i log I get like 5 pm's, a larger ignore list is the least they can do to combat this problem.

Maybe move the whole friends/ignore list to be stored locally on the player's computer. Then it can be loaded up at start up or only whne needed. O and if a overhaul is gonna happen also add a small description to each person so one can remember why they are friends or ignored. Just store the database locally and make the whole thing more robust with functions and user friendliness.

I say make the list unlimited in size and have it stored on our own computer instead of the servers.
